If you are interested in commissioning me for a portrait, please let me know through the “Contact Me” button on the menu. I work from photos so the best thing you can do is send me photos that are around 300 dpi or higher. Simply put, the better the photo, the better the art and high resolution images help me when I zoom in for those tiny details! Once you’ve decided on your favorites, send them to me and we can discuss what you have in mind. All prices are listed under the “Prices” button on the menu. Here are some Important faqs but please feel free to email me with any questions I may not have addressed.
Shipping: All artwork is shipped free via Priority Mail via USPS. Clients wishing to receive work sooner will need to pay additional shipping costs.
Gift Certificates: I offer gift certificates for any quantity. Simply call or email me via the “Contact Me” button and let me know the address of the recipient. I will mail it out as soon as I receive payment through PayPal or check.
Materials: I use archival paper for my drawings and high quality Gamblin oil paints on fine quality canvas. Once completed, I will apply a thin coat of Retouch Varnish to protect your painting from dust and dirt. However, Retouch Varnish is a temporary solution. Oil paintings need to cure for 6 months and then a coat of straight varnish should be applied for a more stable form of protection. At this point, you can have it varnished by a professional picture framer in your area or I will be glad to do it if you live near by. If not, you can ship it back to me at your expense.
If you prefer not to frame your painting, you have the option of choosing a gallery wrapped canvas at no additional cost. This simply means the canvas is stapled to the back side of the wood frame rather than the sides. I then paint the edges of the canvas so that you can hang it as it is.
All drawings will come mounted on a piece of foam core and sealed in a protective plastic sleeve.
Keeping you informed: I will send you occasional photographs to let you know how the work is coming along and to be sure you are pleased with its progress.
All orders are created on a first come first serve basis.
Payment: all work can be payed via Paypal or check, prior to shipping and upon approval.
Donations: 10% of all commissions will be donated to the animal welfare group of your choice.
